Thomas Swan have participated previously in a Brite-Euram and a European Space Agency funded collaborative scheme and therefore have experience of this type of activity. In a previous employment Ted Thrush has mentored numerous students, has participated in several UK based collaborative programmes (JOERS and LINK) and was project manager for a £2M, 3 year, collaborative project concerned with the MOCVD of III-V Materials for device integration. Thomas Swan will act as mentor to its student based at Cambridge University, assist Cambridge University with the organisation of events on its site and combine these with trips to the Thomas Swan factory if they are deemed appropriate.
