Main current research interests in wide-band-gap semiconductors (Group-III-V nitrides, II-VI compounds); Group IVA and VA transition metals their carbides and nitrides; metallic and semiconductor alloys, optoelectronics and optical properties of semiconductors.
•  Computational methods used: Empirical pseudo-potential, first-principles plane wave Pseudopotential (norm-conserving or ultrasoft) and full-potential augmented plane-wave plus local orbitals methods (PWSCF, ESPRESSO and WIEN2K codes).
